In Search of Tiny Treasures (Autumn Edition)

“Autumn leaves are falling, filling up the streets;

golden colors on the lawn, nature’s trick or treat!”

~ Rusty Fischer

“It was a beautiful, bright autumn day, with air like cider

and a sky so blue you could drown in it.”

~ Diana Gabaldon, Outlander

Even though where I am at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in the Northern Hemisphere, where the leaves have nearly all fallen and a blanket of snow has already wrapped itself across the foliage, I wanted to take the time to honor the glorious autumn season we just had and invite anyone who still finds themselves in the bright golds and oranges of autumn to relish in the splendor!

This marks the turn of the wheel for the seasonal editions of the photo series, 'In Search of Tiny Treasures.' To see the other tiny treasures I captured with my iPhone and Easy-Macro lens, here are the Winter Edition, Spring Edition, and Summer Edition posts. Here are more winter treasures and additional Spring and Summer macro photo collections. I am always astounded by the tiny treasures that await discovery with each season! I hope you feel the wonder too!

“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting

and autumn a mosaic of them all.”

~ Stanley Horowitz

"The fires burn and the kettles sing,

and earth sinks to rest until next spring."

~ Cylde Watson
